Record a new play

How this works

Add players above. Each one appears on the sideline right away. Drag them onto the field into their starting spots, then click "Start recording" to lock that in and record their movement from there.

Each player gets a default team color. Click a player's color dot to change just that player's color.

How recording works

Move players: each step shows players where they start, with a faint line for where they go. Drag a player to draw their movement. It replaces only that player's route and saves right away. Drag again any time to change it.

Tap a player (don't drag) to give them the ball or make them stand still this step. Use "Ball to goal" for a shot.

Pass timing: check "Pass after movement" if someone should finish moving before the ball is thrown (a dodge-then-feed, or a cut to receive). Leave it unchecked for a pass thrown right away.

Steps: use ◀ Prev / Next ▶ to jump to any step, and ▶ Play to watch it move. "+ Add step" adds a new step right after the one you're viewing. If you change where a player ends up, the steps after it adjust automatically so nobody jumps.

Next-move lines: when the play is viewed, dotted lines show where each player goes next. Click a color circle next to "Show movement" (for example the defense's) to hide that color's lines for this play; a slashed circle means hidden. It doesn't change how anyone moves.

Coaching marks: "Arrow" / "Circle" add a mark to just this step. Click twice on the field (start then end for an arrow, center then edge for a circle). Click a mark's color dot below to recolor it, or × to remove it.
